DIRECT READING FLOWMETERS
The direct reading flowmeters are instant flow measuring devices suitable for different types of fluids, such as:
• water
• air
• Liquid chemicals (eg NaOH, HCl)
• gaseous chemicals (es.O2)
The measuring device is constituted by a truncated cone tube-shaped with excellent resistance to temperature and pressure, on which is printed the MIC scale which shows the instantaneous flow rate. The fluid, entering vertically from the bottom upward, pushes the float according to the scale to be controlled. Therefore, the reading of the flow rate is linked to the condition of dynamic equilibrium of the float. The floating, shape and weight studied, can be performed, depending on requirements, in a variety of materials.
